There has been a number of hardware releases recently and there are more due in the coming weeks. This makes it a great time to build a gaming PC with the latest components.
Nvidia RTX 3080 and 3090 graphics cards launched mid-September. These cards offer better value and a significant performance boost over the previous generation RTX cards.
The launch was plagued with availability issues which should hopefully settle over the coming months and stock should become easier to obtain.
The RTX 3070 launched last week and this card offers excellent performance and value.
AMD also announced RDNA2 Big Navi GPU’s which should be on par with the RTX offerings, a huge performance leap for Radeon graphics cards.
The Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800XT will launch on November 18th.
Following this the RX 6900XT is scheduled to launch on December the 8th. This will be the fastest gaming graphics card that AMD has developed and should provide RTX 3090 comparable performance at a considerably lower price.
In addition to graphics cards AMD’s Ryzen 5000 CPU’s launch this week. Reviews and performance information should be available in the next few days.
If you are building a new gaming PC over the coming months you will have more options when selecting components and will be able to achieve increased levels of performance.
